  Dogs have to be on leash on the actual beach not inside the dog park. Actually can’t be on a leash in the park.
  Membership is required but very cheap. Go to AB town hall on penman with vaccination records to get pass.

  Beach or dog park

  The beach is free, and allows leashed dogs 24/7. The dog park (about a mile west of the beach off Atlantic Blvd.) is $50 per year and is a great place with an aerated lake the pack can swim in, hoses, etc.
