  Love this place!

  I live close by so my dogs and I frequent here. There’s a smaller trail roughly 1.44 miles and a longer one that’s I think 4 miles. I would bring your own poop bags on the trails or grab a few at the stations around the park. The trails are gorgeous and for the most part you don’t see many people on them which is great for reactive dogs. Dogs have to be on a 6ft leash at all times and are not allowed in the water. There’s spots to grill and hang out before you go on the trails, a small playground, a volleyball pit and a bathroom if you need it. The entrance fee is $5

  great place to take the pups. morgan and I took the river run trail which was perfect at 1.4 miles and winds along the river with benches throughout to stop for a water break. lots of smells. bring your own water bowl and poop bags. pack a lunch as the scenery is gorgeous and you will want to stay and take it all in!

  Great hiking spot

  Our German shepherd loved this park! Beautiful spots for humans to marvel at and lots of awesome smells for the pupper. Bring leash and water bottles (the water fountain my the bathrooms is iced cold and tastes great!) There are poop bags (must clean up after Fido!) we did the river trail, a quick 1.44 loop hike that goes over a suspension bridge and loops back to the campsite entrance. There’s a phone number posted that you can call for a “tour guide” that gives cool info about the trail (sign posted by the bridge.)

  Great for a day hike with the pups

  Very dog friendly state park- dogs just need to be leashed at all times. The trails are gorgeous and just long enough for a nice hike without tiring the pups out too much.

  many trails!

  I loved it so much! There were a ton of trails to run with my mom. There weren’t a ton of dogs there which was nice! We also got to see a lot of wildlife like a wild boar

  Great pet friendly park/hiking trails

  This is one of my favorite places to go with my dogs. Trails and beach//picnic area are always clean and never crowded. My only gripe is that they don’t have any pet waste stations along the trail, so if you have to clean up after your dog, you have to carry it with you until you get back. Trails are mostly shaded and if you get too hot, you can always soak your feet in the river.
