  Dog friendly super service!

  Spent the afternoon and the distillery, grounds are nice and spread out, with a pretty botanical area. We took our 2 pugs almost everywhere. We did not do the tours, but did do the tasting, gift shop and visitors center. They love four legged friends. Great afternoon.

  Favorite Bourbon Tour!

  We visited Buffalo Trace because of this website’s recommendation. Our dog enjoyed going everywhere with us and all the attention he received! Definitely a must!!

  Awesome place!

  Found out last minute they allow dogs. Definitely helped make our trip one to remember. Took our (almost) 3 year old rottie. Everyone loved her. Staff was great!

  We had so much fun taking our pups to Buffalo Trace! Thank you for letting us teach them how to behave in public while we got to do one of our favorite things, taste bourbon!

  What a treat for me and my pup!

  I'm always looking for new places to walk my senior dog near wherever we're living at the time, and I'd heard Buffalo Trace was dog friendly. Wow, are they ever! Harley and I walked all over the grounds and in the buildings, and she was allowed everywhere - even the gift shop. There are some really beautiful gardens to explore too, which I wasn't expecting. Even better, every staff member and employee we encountered stopped to pet her. Some even gave her treats. It was great to see the distillery all decked out for for the holidays, and I don't think my dog or I will ever forget that heavenly smell that permeates the whole place. Highly recommended!

  Great staff and location

  This was our first trip with the dog we stopped here based on the reviews. They did not disappoint the staff were great with the dog, made sure she got a treat and let her go everywhere we went. There were several other dogs there, which gave our dog time to make some new acquaintances. We had a great time, we did a tasting, and she was allowed to join us. It made our first visit here a wonderful experience. We would definitely visit again.

  Dogs and bourbon!

  The staff at Buffalo Trace were stellar, and extremely enthusiastic about people who wanted to bring their furry companions. I went on the Trace Tour that’s about 75 minutes long, and my boys could go everywhere with me.

  dogs are allowed everywhere! in the gift shop, on the tours, in the barrel house. all the staff was very friendly, great experience!

  Great experience!

  We stopped by to shop and were told from the start the whole gift shop was dog friendly. We took our 2 Bernese Mountain Dogs and they were so loved on by staff and visitors alike. Great experience!

  Very Welcoming And Lots Of Grass

  staff was so friendly and welcoming of our pup and there is a nice park with plenty of room to exercise your pup also

  Brought our dog. The greeter at the front gate instantly told us they loved dogs and welcomed ours. All of the workers

  Enjoyable adventure!

  We were warmly greeted by the staff who promptly offered our pet a treat! The tour was enjoyable and very informative with ease of access for our pet. During the tasting, the staff promptly offered our pet water and another treat! 😁 We will definitely return when visiting the area.

  Had a great time. Went in the tour with our dog Everyone that saw him loved him. All staff was super friendly and helpful. Our tour guide was “Don”. How was very knowledgeable and also like our dog Wonderful time

  Great Place to Bring a Dog

  Distillery and tour!!! All dog friendly even the tasting and gift shop. Only place she couldn't go was bottle building which is OK and expected... everyone was more then welcoming to our pup great place to bring a dog!!!

  Wonderful Time

  What a great place to visit! My husband and I brought our 3 rescue pups and they all were welcomed as one of the family...some even had treats for them! . My furbabies were included in all of the tour except for the bottling room, which is totally expected. The tastings were wonderful! Our tour guide was so knowledgeable and great! Overall, this was a great experience. I would do it again!

  Fantastic Visit!!!

  This was such a great visit! My husband and I brought our 6# Chihuahua, Colby, and he was welcomed as one of the family by our knowledgeable tour guide. Colby was included in all of the tour except for the bottling room, which is totally expected. The tastings were wonderful! Our tour guide, Shelly, was outstanding! Overall, this was a great experience. I would do it again!

  Buffalo Trace was wonderful! Having been there before I knew I loved the campus and when we decided to take a camping trip with our 8 month old puppy I wasn't sure if we would be able to do anything fun with her. However buffalo trace was a very pet friendly tour there were a few parts that I could not go in with the dog (no one wants the puppy to crash into a case of just bottled Pappy!) However, having been on several tours before I wasn't upset to miss it and my husband was able to enjoy it. When we went into the gift shop to go to the tasting I was a little nervous if it would be a really welcoming experience and they all loved my puppy. All of the sales associates were super sweet and most had little treats to give her :)
