    Valley of Fire State Park

    The Valley of Fire State Park is located in the Mojave Desert of Overton, NV. The dog-friendly park lies in a basin 4 miles wide by 6 miles long. Its elevation varies between 2,000 and 2,600 feet. You'll see petrified trees dating back more than 2,000 years! Pets are welcome, but they must be kept on a leash of not more than six feet in length, and pups aren't permitted in the Visitor Centers. Visit Website
