Dogs are welcome at Bruneau Dunes State Park in Bruneau, ID, a pet-friendly park that is home to the largest single-structured sand dune in North America. You and Fido are welcome to hike together around the stunning sand dune that towers 470 feet into the air. The lakes at the foot are a great spot for keen anglers may be able to catch some bluegill. While you're there, you can drop into Bruneau Dunes Observatory and gaze up at the huge sky full of stars around you. There are some campsites and cabins on the site as well.
