Bayou Segnette State Park

Dogs are allowed to join their owners at Bayou Segnette State Park in Westago, just down the road from the urban sprawl of New Orleans, LA. There's a nearly three mile long pet-friendly nature trail that weaves around the park. While you're getting your steps in, you and Fido may come across a variety of different wildlife species on the ground and in the air, including American alligators, nine-banded armadillos, raccoons, bald eagles, and northern cardinals.
