Chicot State Park

Dogs are welcome at Chicot State Park, a 6,400-acre pet-friendly recreation area in Ville Platte, LA. Visitors can explore this vast park on a hike across the 20-mile trail which leads to primitive campsites, through woodlands, and to overlooks of Chicot Lake. You can bring Fido with you to the trail on a leash under six feet, as long as you clean up any mess that they leave behind. Visit Website
