K9 Cove Dog Park

K9 Cove Dog Park in is a small recreation area for dogs located in Miami Lakes, FL. You and Fido will discover two separate fenced-in areas for small and large dogs. There are also benches, drinking fountains for the dogs, and a joint open air shelter for use by pet owners. It's whatever
It's unfortunate dogs aren't ON LEASH before entering the park, especially dogs who don't have a reliable recall.
We were training outside of the fenced in area to desensitize my service dogs. My dogs were both on leash and one of my dogs was attacked by 3 different dogs who were off leash.
Owners didn't even care to come get their dog.
Since then, my dog has become scared of getting attacked again.

Nice dog park!
This is a nice fenced dog park with an area for small dogs and another for large dogs. I’ve only gone during the week around 4pm and it hasn’t been busy at all. It doesn’t have a parking lot which is the only downside. you have to park on the grass across the street. It’s not convenient if you have kids with you like me. Just be careful when crossing and enjoy!
