Cuyuna Country State Recreation Area

Cuyuna Country State Recreation Area in Ironton, MN is dog friendly. Previously an old mining area, the land has been reclaimed for public use and is well worth a visit with Fido. Spanning 25 miles of natural shoreline, there are plenty of water-based activities to try within the area. Dogs who'd rather stay on dry land can enjoy the Cuyuna Lakes State Trail, an 8-mile paved trail along the coast. Make sure you keep an eye out for people cruising by on their fat bikes. Dogs must be kept on a leash for the duration of their visit and all mess should be cleaned up after them. Visit Website
