Fort Ridgely State Park
Dogs are welcome to join their owners at the pet-friendly Fort Ridgely State Park in Fairfax, MN. This pretty park, the sight of the Battle of Fort Ridgely during the Dakota War of 1862, is popular among dog walkers for the short paved trail and the eight miles of trails that feature a wide variety of terrain from easy to challenging. Dogs must be on a leash under six feet for the duration of their visit and all mess must be cleaned up after them.
