Savanna Portage State Park

Savanna Portage State Park is a historic, pet-friendly recreation area in McGregor, MN. Dogs and their owners are invited to enjoy a trip down memory lane on the Savanna Portage Trail, a historic trail traveled by fur traders, Dakota and Ojibwe Indians, and explorers more than 200 years ago. There are four fishing lakes and a river dotted around the park, so anglers and boat users can revel on the waters with their pups.
