Tishomingo State Park
You can bring Fido with you to Tishomingo State Park in Mississippi. This pet-friendly park is on the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains. The name for the area comes from Chief Tishomingo, the leader of the Chickasaw nation, and evidence of Paleo Indians remains in the park from 7,000 BC. You and your leashed pup can explore the wildflower border trails during your visit.
