Giant Springs State Park

Giant Springs State Park in Great Falls, MT is pet friendly. The namesake of the park, Giant Springs, was discovered by the Lewis and Clark Expedition in 1805 and is one of the largest freshwater springs in the country. The park is also home to Roe River, possibly the world's shortest river, and plenty of hiking trails to explore. Dogs must be kept on a leash throughout the park, and all mess must be cleaned up after them. Visit Website

    Beautiful Park!

Lots of grass and shade. The springs are gorgeous. Only detractor, the nearby fish hatchery is a bit industrial-looking and loud. Easy walk from the Lewis and Clark Interpretive Center.
