Medicine Rocks State Park

Medicine Rocks State Park in Ekalaka, MT, is pet friendly. You are welcome to bring your pooch with you to explore the are around the soft sandstone rock formations that have the appearance of giant blocks of Swiss cheese because of weathering. Wildlife lovers might run into mule, deer, antelope, woodhouse's toads, and sharp tailed grouse. Dogs must be on a leash for the duration of their visit and all mess must be cleaned up after them.     Hidden gem

    Medicine Rocks is a pretty place to explore. Not big so not a ton of time needed, unless camping. Paying the fee is on honour system. Keep in mind that there are no trash cans, make sure you have your own poop bags and a place to keep them until you find a trash can somewhere else.
