Lahontan State Recreation Area
Lahontan State Recreation Area is dog friendly. The main attraction within this park is Lahontan Reservoir, covering 12,000 surface acres. The 69 miles of shoreline are covered in winding trails that you and your leashed pup are welcome to explore. This is a popular spot for wildlife lovers, as you may see wild horses, bobcats, foxes, deer and many birds. There is an entry fee into the park.
