Pipestone National Monument
Bring Fido to explore the pet-friendly Pipestone National Monument in Pipestone, MN. The red pipestone found at this site has long been quarried by natives to the area, which are then carved into pipes used for prayer. The space features a lovely walk that offers views of the pipestone quarries, historical markers, Old Stone Face, Winnewissa Falls, the Oracle and native tallgrass prairie. Dogs are welcome to join you on a leash, as long as all mess is cleaned up after them during their visit.
