Greyfriars Bobby is a monument in Edinburgh. This monument stands in recognition of Bobby, a Skye Terrier who kept a night watchman company in the capital city of Scotland. When his owner died, Bobby remained at his grave through rain and shine. This endeared him to the locals and the statue was built to commemorate his loyal act and our connection with the canine kind.
