St. James's Park With its royal, political and literary associations, St James's Park is at the very heart of London and covers 23 hectares (58 acres) with a lake harboring ducks, geese, and pelicans. St James's is also home to the Mall, the setting for many ceremonial parades and events of national celebration. Please note that dogs are not allowed in the Memorial Gardens (in front of Buckingham Palace) or in the fenced-off grass area around the perimeter of the lake. Dogs must be leashed on the footpath around the perimeter of the lake and on the Horse Guards Parade Ground. During the spring and summer, you and Fido can watch the changing of the guard in the open area in front of Buckingham Palace at 11:30 A.M. each morning (weather permitting). See Details

Ravenglass and Eskdale Railway Ravenglass and Eskdale Railway, a Lake District icon, is pet-friendly. During the forty minute ride, you'll journey from Ravenglass, through the nature reserves of the estuary, and ascend through ancient woodlands toward the foothills of England’s highest mountains, ending in Dalegarth. Leashed dogs are welcome to travel on the railway for a small charge. Dogs are allowed in some buildings, but certain events are off limits, so guests should check the Railway's event page for more details. The Settle - Carlisle Railway The Settle - Carlisle Railway is a pet-friendly train through the Yorkshire Dales and Cumbrian Fells in the north of England. Gwithian Towans Beach Gwithian Beach is pet-friendly. Windsurfers love this spot, as well as visitors flying kites. Dogs are welcome on this beach except between May 1 to September 30 from 8am to 7pm. The seasonal dog ban is in place between Ceres Rock and Red River. The park once formed part of the Inverleith Estate, which had been owned by the Rocheid family since 1665.
