Tamarac National Wildlife Refuge
Tamarac National Wildlife Refuge in Rochert, MN is pet friendly. The park is located in the glacial lake country of Becker County, 18 miles northeast of Detroit Lakes. Leashed dogs are welcome, as long as you clean up after them. Activities include a hike through the maple basswood forest on a 2.4-mile Old Indian Hiking Trail, fishing, canoeing and picnicking.
