Houmas House and Gardens
Houmas House and Gardens in Darrow, LA is a dog-friendly historical attraction. Leashed dogs are permitted on the grounds, but calling ahead to inform staff your have a dog is advised because there are resident pets on the property. Providing a dog is well-behaved and other guests are comfortable with him, Fido is also welcome on the Mansion Tour which commences every half hour. The Inn at Houmas House welcomes dogs and their owners with advance notice, and bowls for food and water is provided in guest rooms.
