Civil Rights Memorial
Civil Rights Memorial is pet-friendly. Created by Vietnam Veterans Memorial designer Maya Lin, the Memorial is located across the street from the Southern Poverty Law Center's office building in Montgomery. The centerpiece is a circular black granite table that records the names of the martyrs and chronicles the history of the movement. Dogs are not allowed in the museum or Memorial Center, but are welcome to join their owners at the outdoor memorial.
