Fire Island National Seashore
Leashed dogs are welcome seasonally at the pet-friendly Fire Island National Seashore in Ocean Beach, NY. Pets aren't permitted from March 15 through Labor Day to ensure that threatened and endangered beach-nesting shorebirds are protected. At other times of the year you're welcome to explore the beaches with your pup.
