    Durango Off-Leash Dog Park is a large area with 6 square miles of natural, open space on the side of Smelter Mountain right in downtown Durango, CO. A stone's throw from several dog-friendly hotels, this park is a place where dogs can play in the Animas River and run the trails for an afternoon of great hiking. Please note that the area is not fenced, so Fido should be under good voice control. Public parking is located in a dirt lot off of US-160. Visit Website
