Moonshine Wash

Moonshine Wash is a dog-friendly trail through a slot canyon located in the San Rafael Desert near Green River, UT. The signature landmark of the hike is the old sheep bridge hovering above the tightest spot of the canyon at three feet wide. Large dogs that cannot be carried can turn around at the bridge while pups small enough to be lifted that are used to canyoneering may continue for the full 6.4-mile loop. Some rock scrambling may be required so it's best to hike with a partner and bring Fido's harness and booties to protect his feet. Stop by the BLM Visitor Center in Price before beginning your hike.
