  Only small dogs

  My dog wasn't allowed in to "protect the artifacts". I had to take my dog to a park across the street while my husband toured and then he had to watch the dog while I visited. Only the gift shop was pet friendly. If you check their website, you'll see that only small dogs that can be carried are allowed in the museum.Nice place but wouldn't have planned a visit here had we known this.

  Great collection AND they love dogs!

  Website says they allow dogs, which was partly the reason we decided to stop here. So glad we did! The museum staff watched our 9-month old husky pup while we got to enjoy the museum for about an hour; great collection of Wizard of Oz memorabilia and informative displays/videos.

  we were delighted to find out we could bring our pooch inside the museum. we had to hold Gizmo in the museum but we didn’t mind that. very friendly staff!
