I pay $20 to use this very neglected dog park. Advantages: nice dog owners and lots of shade.
There is running water for the dogs only, and waste bags. There are both small and large dog areas. That’s it.
There are no stones near the front of the area, so all muddy after rain. There are 2 chain link fence gates that are not quite closed. The grassy area is getting taller and taller—great for ticks—nobody cuts it.Various town departments have been notified of work needed, and have ignored the requests.

The small dog park needs wood chips and has to be mowed. The grass is 5 feet high. I was coming to the park three times a day, but not until the park gets cleaned up!

I recently took my dog to the Livingston dog park for the first time. No one was there, however, we found the trails and off leash area very nice. However, we returned several times in the evening to find dogs who were not interested in playing, aggressive, and territorial. The owners were no better. I don't plan on returning again and wouldn't suggest this park to anyone.

Could be a lot cleaner. Garbage can is rotted out and smells in small dog park.People bring big dogs in and do not pick up after their dog. The wood chips the town brings in,is all dirt.

Great dog park but contact the Livingston Township Health Dept to get a pass or risk a fine.
