Our Italian greyhound had a great time playing with a variety of dogs! Owners were friendly and picked up after their dogs. Beach was low tide time and perfect for my pup who can’t swim. The dog shower area afterward was perfect. Bring water!
Great for dogs to swim and run. Big dogs were having a great time. Took some time for my 12-lb malitpoo to get comfortable, but he enjoyed watching all the dogs run around. Have to wade through water to get to beach.
This is my dog Hunter. He’s a pit bull boxer mix and he is two years old. He loved that the beach was off leash and the water was shallow enough for him to enjoy playing in the water.
We had a blast listening to music and playing in the water with the other dogs!

Among the puppies.
I am in this pic petting another beach goers dog. My dog is the dobe in the pic. My wife and I have brought our dobe here twice now and he has had a blast. This is an "off leash" experience for the puppies, so there is a bit of action. I am impressed that everyone seemed very attentive and understood the nature of the off leash feature. People minded their dogs and didn't get mad about other people's dogs playing with theirs. I highly recommend this for a dog that is active but would be cautious about bringing a more timid and tentative k9.
