Washington-on-the-Brazos State Historic Site
Leashed pets are welcome on the park grounds at Washington-on-the-Brazos State Historic Site, a dog-friendly attraction in Washington, TX. This location is recognized as the site of the signing of the Texas Declaration of Independence on March 2, 1836. Located on the Brazos River, dogs can accompany you for a walk at this scenic park but are not permitted in buildings or at Barrington Plantation.
