    McCabe's Beach is a dog-friendly beach in Southold, NY, that overlooks the sound. Leashed dogs are allowed at the beach between the beginning of May through to the start of October from 9:00 AM until 6:00 PM. Dogs aren't permitted when a lifeguard is on duty.
