Leslie Groves Park

Leslie Groves Park in Richland, WA, is pet friendly. This park was named after the US Army officer overseeing the Manhattan Project and consists of 149 acres bordering the Columbia River. Your leashed furry friend is welcome to explore the hiking trails and picnic with you under their covered pavilions. You can either stroll Riverfront Trail or detour from the path to view the Gold Coast Historic District’s “alphabet homes,” constructed in 1949 when Hanford’s Cold War mission brought new growth to the Tri-Cities.
