El Vado Lake State Park
Check out the pet-friendly El Vado Lake State Park in Tierra Amarilla, NM. Leashed dogs are welcome at this state recreation area, which is located in New Mexico’s northern mountains and provides tons of opportunities for fishing, camping, boating and hiking. Pets are allowed but must be leashed at all times and cleaned up after. Make sure to bring enough water for you and your pup.
