Heron Lake State Park
Check out the dog-friendly Heron Lake State Park in Los Ojos, NM. Leashed pets are welcome at this state park, which is set on a beautiful lake among tons of trees, and provides ample opportunities for hiking, boating, picnicking and camping. Dogs are welcome but must be leashed at all times and cleaned up after. Make sure to bring enough water for you and Fido.
