Acid Canyon Trail
Check out the dog-friendly Acid Canyon Trail located within the Manhattan Project National Historical Park in Los Alamos, NM. This historic area is where the atomic bomb was first designed and created. The short hike is a 0.9-mile trek that takes 30-90 minutes to complete, forming a loop that follows a bedrock fire road through open pine stands. Pups must be leashed at all times and cleaned up after. Make sure to bring sunscreen, hats, and enough water for you and Fido.
