Snake Creek Management Unit
Snake Creek Management Unit, nestled within Richard J. Dorer Memorial Hardwood Forest in Kellogg, MN, spans 3,000 acres and is named after the Snake Creek trout stream. The rugged terrain features steep slopes rising 300 feet above the valley floor. Two pet-friendly trail systems offer diverse experiences: a remote five-mile trail and a 13.5-mile loop on the south side. Primitive campsites with basic amenities are available, including vault toilets, garbage cans, and drinking water.
