Sand Hills State Forest
Sand Hills State Forest spans over 46,000 acres, offering a range of pet-friendly outdoor activities including hiking, fishing, hunting and camping. A highlight is Sugar Loaf Mountain, providing breathtaking views of the Pee Dee region's forests. Treading to the top of this monadnock is a popular activity, and visitors can also enjoy the large day-use area with picnic shelters.
