Valley of Fires Recreation Area
Bring Fido to explore the pet-friendly Valley of Fires Recreation Area in Carrizozo, NM. Leashed furry friends are welcome to join you in exploring this recreation area, which is the result of the eruption of the Little Black Peak 5,000 years ago, as it filled the basin with molten rock. The area provides great opportunities for hiking, birding and wildlife viewing. Pups must be leashed at all times.
