Port Orford Heads State Park
The pet-friendly Port Orford Heads State Park in southwest Oregon offers expansive views and a rich wartime history, preserving the site of the historic Port Orford Lifeboat Station, operational from 1934 to 1970. You can bring Fido along to explore the National Register of Historic Places-listed compound and admire the legendary, unsinkable 36-foot motor lifeboat. Dogs must be leashed and cleaned up after during their visit.
