The Trout Pond Recreation Area, nestled within the George Washington & Jefferson National Forest in Lost City, WV, boasts the state's sole freshwater lake. This pet-friendly spot invites dogs to explore the hiking trails, picnic areas and fishing spots. They also offer designated areas for Fido to splash near the boat ramp. Please note the area is open from early May through October, and an entrance fee is required.
