Shreveport Water Works Museum
The Shreveport Water Works Museum is a dog-friendly historic site housed in the McNeill Street Pumping Station in Shreveport, LA. Designated a National Historic Landmark and National Historic Civil Engineering Landmark, the museum offers guided and self-guided tours through its well-preserved engines, filters, and machinery. It was the first water plant in the area and still preserves its original steam-powered pumps. Please ensure Fido is leashed at all times while visiting.
