Savannas Recreation Area

Leashed dogs are welcome at Savannas Recreation Area in Fort Pierce, FL, a 550-acre preserve protecting one of the last remaining freshwater savanna ecosystems along Florida’s East Coast. Explore pet-friendly nature trails, marshes, flatwoods, scrub habitat, and open water, or visit the designated dog park. Visitors can also enjoy fishing piers and canoe and kayak rentals.
