Round Mountain Trail

Round Mountain Trail is a pet-friendly path in Post, OR. It's a moderately easy, 8.4-mile hike in Ochoco National Forest that will take about 4 hours to complete with Fido. Enjoy the panoramic views from atop Round Mountain as you look out onto Big Summit Prairie and the Cascade peaks. You will want to bring water along for the hike, but Walton Lake, located by the trailhead, makes for a refreshing swim. Please note that a Northwest Forest Pass is required. Visit Website
