- SamMore than a year agoTerrible as all have said, and dogs not allowed in beach area
This whole park kind of just sucks. Dogs are officially not allowed in the actual beach area, or anywhere except a small part of the park, but it is strangely not clear. According to a staff member, the part of the shore that dogs are allowed in is north of the actual beach, which is an unfun rocky shore. The beach itself is also terrible and weird for being 6 feet on the side of the road, and the whole park is kind of just strange because there is nothing there really, but they charge $11 to get in. There are fences, and bridges in the middle of nowhere over a lagoon... to what? It was just strange. Avoid the whole park, dog or no dog. We don't get it.
- LindaMore than a year agoSTAY AWAY!
This is far from being a family friendly beach, much less a beach for any dog. There is 2 feet of sand and NO SIDE WALK! So, one careless step backwards and you may get run by a car. Stay away, please!!!!
- NikyMore than a year agonot super dog friendly
We chose to stay at this park because they said they were pet friendly. However, that's not totally the truth. As others said, the "beach" is literally feet from a main road with no fence and the dog area also happens to be the fishing and boating area. Be cautious! Throughout the park there are numerous signs saying "no dogs allowed in this area." There is only one picnic area they dogs can be and it's less than stellar. However, we (like many others) broke the rules on where dogs could be and even off leashed it in the water. No one seemed to care.
- DawnMore than a year agoDid not understand
How can a dog swim on leash, the beach it on the side of a busy road. Do not make the drive to look at it, it is a joke.
- MeganMore than a year agodisappointing
This is not a dog park! The water to swim in is gross and always filled with fishers (and who knows what they've left on shore). Stay away. The wooded area is cool to walk through but was heavily tick infested when we went.
- CarrieMore than a year agodo not go!
This shouldn't even be listed on this site as a dog beach.

What a joke! Do not bring your dogs here. As another review stated, it's next to a main road, only a few feet wide, and is also used by a lot of boaters.
- PeterMore than a year agoVery Dangerous
Beach is only 10 ft. wide and next to a busy highway.
