From May 15 through Labor Day, dogs on and off leash are permitted on the beach before 9 AM, and dogs on leash only are allowed after 5 PM. Canines are prohibited in the restricted beach area between Champion St and the Spurwink River from April 1 through Labor Day. During the off-season (after Labor Day to May 14), pups are allowed on the beach under voice control at any time except between 1 PM and 3 PM, when a leash is required.
