Crane Creek Regional Park is a128-acre, dog-friendly park in Santa Rosa that features rolling grasslands and beautiful oaks. Explore the 3.5 miles of trails with your leashed pooch, and the 18-hole disc golf course. Along the way, discover Crane Creek flowing through the middle of the park, ridges that offer sweeping views of the countryside and meadows covered with wildflowers. Bring your own water for your pooch to rehydrate. There is a parking fee.

Millerton Point in Inverness, CA, offers a scenic spot to enjoy with your leashed pup at the Vista Point Picnic Area—the only dog-friendly area on site. While dogs aren't permitted on the beach or trails, you can still take in beautiful bay views and enjoy a relaxing picnic together. Restrooms and parking are available near the area for your convenience.

Dogs are welcome on the Cross Marin Trail bike path of Samuel P. Taylor State Park in Lagunitas, CA. Located at the beginning of Lands End Trail, a moderate coastal pathway, bring your leashed pooch along to the remains of an extravagant public bath house that opened in 1896. Dogs are welcome to explore, as long as they are well-behaved and cleaned up after. Sutro Baths is best accessed during daylight hours.
