Dog Events in Darrington, WA

The races take place during Kenmore Oktoberfest. Dachshunds are welcome to race in the main event, and mixed breeds are welcome in the Wiener Dog Wannabe Race. Two handlers are required for start and finish lines, and all handlers must be at least 18 years of age. A current rabies vaccination is required for all pups. On the final day of Fremont Oktoberfest, leashed and friendly pups are invited to join the fun! This 21+ event offers beer tasting, stein hoisting, live music, and the vibrant, non-traditional outdoor Oktoberfest atmosphere that defines Seattle’s Fremont neighborhood. Four-legged guests will be treated to a free doggie bandana, collapsible pet bowl, and waste bags while supplies last.

All canine guests must be up to date on vaccinations and kept on a non-retractable leash no longer than six feet. Advance dog ticket purchase is required. No dog tickets will be sold at the gate and there's a limit of one dog per adult.
