Leashed dogs are welcome to join their humans at this running event for all abilities! Register in advance to participate in the 5K, 10K or 15K. Please keep Fido on a short leash and keep a passing lane open on your left-hand side at all times.

The Arthritis Foundation’s race is the original festive race for charity with your pup. It’s where you can strut your stuff in your favorite holiday costume. Bring a team of friends, family, and co-workers to run or walk. Please ensure Fido is kept on a leash at all times. Check-in starts at 7:00 AM and the race begins at 8:30 AM.

Dogs are welcome on select evenings (Dec. 1, 2, 8, 9, 15 & Jan. 3), when guests can stroll through the zoo’s dazzling holiday light displays with their four-legged friends in tow! Your Dog Nights ticket admits one adult and one dog (no walk-ups; dogs must be pre-registered), with rules in place for safety and comfort: dogs must be well behaved, on a non-retractable leash (max 6 feet), and current on vaccinations. There's a limit of one dog per adult guest. Select paths will be dog-friendly while other areas remain off limits, and aquariums are closed during the event.
