Costumed pups are invited to the outdoor area near Nike Center Court for a festive Halloween event featuring a pet and owner costume contest (with prizes), free photo ops, and more fun surprises.

St. Jude's Anglican Church of Hendersonville is hosting a community-wide Blessing of the Animals. During the event they'll also receive donations for the Henderson County Animal Shelter.

Mills River Presbyterian Church is partnering with Holy Family Episcopal and Bold Rock this year for their annual pet blessing. All pets are welcome to this service, which celebrates the life of both current and former pets. Pet food donations will be collected for MRPC Food Pantry.

Furry, feathered, and even scaly friends are welcome to celebrate the Feast of St. Francis of Assisi at this annual outdoor blessing. In celebration of this day, they’re collecting cat and dog food and other pet supplies for Blue Ridge Humane Society at all services on this day as well.
