Bark in the Park with the Spokane Indians

Fans and their dogs are invited out to a ballgame where dogs sit with owners in a designated pet-only section and participate in a post-game Puppy Parade. Proceeds from dog tickets are donated to local animal shelters. Pups must be leashed (retractable leashes aren't permitted) and current on their vaccinations. Dog-friendly games for 2026 are currently scheduled for Tuesday, May 19th, June 2nd and 23rd, and August 4th and 18th. Check their website for any updates.

Kenmore Oktoberfest Annual Wiener Dog Races

The races take place during Kenmore Oktoberfest. Dachshunds are welcome to race in the main event, and mixed breeds are welcome in the Wiener Dog Wannabe Race. Two handlers are required for start and finish lines, and all handlers must be at least 18 years of age. A current rabies vaccination is required for all pups. Stay on site for a weekend of fun by booking a dog-friendly room at The Lodge at St. Edward State Park !

Kenmore’s Oktoberfest brings Bavarian fun to the Pacific Northwest with a spirited mix of beer gardens, sing-alongs, and live music. Bring Fido to the Annual Wiener Dog Races (on September 20th), savor PNW and German brews, and join in family-friendly games like stein holding and pretzel tossing. It all kicks off with a traditional firkin keg tapping and wraps up with a pop-up market, root beer garden, and festival flair spread all across Kenmore’s Brew Row and public spaces. A Washington State Parks Discover Pass is required at the park. Purchase an annual pass ($35) or one-day pass ($11.50) on site. This 21+ event offers beer tasting, stein hoisting, live music, and the vibrant, non-traditional outdoor Oktoberfest atmosphere that defines Seattle’s Fremont neighborhood. Four-legged guests will be treated to a free doggie bandana, collapsible pet bowl, and waste bags while supplies last.
