Talk about dog friendly hotel? Right after checking in, I was given 2 super cute bandannas for my 2 corgis who were staying with us. About 20 minutes after we got to our room a staff member brought over a doggie bowls with a mat and a large dog bed! Super cozy lake house vibes with a balcony looking over the lake and the mountains. Will definitely return!

The Lakehouse was very nice but most amenities were in other buildings. For Lake and outdoor pool access, it was across the street and walk through “The Waterfront” building of hotel. It was a small area and you were literally sitting directly in front of hotel room sliders. No “beach” type access. Just a very small dock area. Outdoor pool looked nice.
Also, other than vending machines, there was no place in hotel to grab a quick bagel or burger. You had to go to the restaurant across the street in the main building or down to Main St. Dogs are not allowed in the restaurant. Overall, It was a nice place, but other than dogs being allowed in common areas, it was less dog friendly than I had hoped.

Thanks to BringFido we found the Lake House. Our room came with dog bowls, dog bed and souvenir bandana! We stayed on the first floor which was super convenient with a patio and grassy area. We had a view of the lake and across the street was the outdoor pool and lake activities. Dogs were allowed on the lawn next to the dock but not pool area. Dogs are allowed on the kayaks, SUPs and paddle boats which was so much fun and our dogs even swam in the lake with us in the roped off swim area! The town is full of dog friendly restaurants and stores. Love this place!
