Entry Requirements
Complete the following entry requirements to travel to Aruba with your pet:
- Provide a veterinary Health Certificate issued from the originating country, no more than 14 days prior to arrival and a rabies inoculation certificate issued within 30 days prior to arrival, including additional certification statements for New World Screwworm.
- A completed Application for Import Permit is required for dogs and cats.
- Your pet will also need a microchip prior to traveling to Aruba.
- A valid rabies vaccination must be given at least 30 days before entering Aruba. A valid 3-year rabies vaccine is accepted. The rabies vaccination is not applicable to puppies/kittens under 12 weeks old, and the 30-day waiting period is waived for the first rabies vaccine given to puppies/kittens between 12 and 16 weeks old.
- Pets must have lived continuously in a country with a low percentage of rabies for 6 months preceding the travel date. Pets may not enter Aruba from any country with a high percentage of rabies.
Quarantine Information
Pets being transported into Aruba are not required to be quarantined if they meet all the necessary requirements listed above.
